Friends!
As an Assistant Hennepin County Attorney, I've spent the last 14 years working to protect public safety. My first ten years were in a courtroom, prosecuting violent offenses with a speciality in crimes against children. In 2020, I moved away from trial work and took over the Office's expungement program, where I became one of the leading subject matter experts in the state.
Growing up as a second-generation immigrant has given me invaluable perspective and a deeply embedded tendency toward balance. It was that perspective, coupled with experience gained over a decade as a prosecutor for Minnesota's most populous county, that allowed me to transform the expungement process in Hennepin County. Every policy decision I make on behalf of our community will be informed by an intersectional analysis that’s grounded in the value of equal representation.

A lot of creativity is required while working within the confines of a stagnant system to remove barriers, grow from our past, and evolve together as a community. I'm incredibly proud of the work I've done with Hennepin County and cannot wait to put my skills to use for St. Anthony.

After work, chances are good that I'm either coaching my daughter's soccer team or watching my husband coach both of our kids in T-Ball.
